Schools are dealing with increasingly complex matters pertaining to students’ mental health and social/emotional well-being. Through the delivery of a comprehensive school counseling program, with equitable access for all students, school counselors can be influential in promoting student success and positive mental health outcomes.
This series of four (4) workshops is designed to help school counselors create, implement, and sustain a Comprehensive School Counseling Program that includes the development or revision of:
Vision, Mission, Data Summary, Annual Student Outcome Goal Plan, Advisory Council, Use of Time, Classroom and Group Attitudes and Skills Action Plan, Closing-the-Gap Action Plan, Annual Administrative Conference, Lesson Plans, Results Reports, Performance Appraisal, Program Assessments, Reflections, and other components of the ASCA National Model and the Alabama School Counseling Program of Distinction.
