Jeremy R. Kilber, ESQ

Jeremy R. Kilber, Esq.THE Kilber Firm, PLLC*

Jeremy Kilber is a construction and design professional attorney with nearly two decades of experience advising engineers and other design professionals on contract drafting, risk allocation, and dispute avoidance. His practice focuses primarily on the preparation, review, and negotiation of design professional agreements, helping firms identify and manage contractual risk before it turns into costly claims or litigation.

For more than 15 years, Jeremy has worked extensively with engineers and architects on both the transactional and dispute sides of construction projects. He routinely drafts and negotiates AIA and non-standard professional services agreements, addresses owner-driven contract overreach, and counsels firms on issues such as standard of care, indemnity provisions, insurance coordination, limitation of liability clauses, and scope alignment. His litigation background gives him a practical, real-world perspective on how contract language is later interpreted, challenged, and enforced when projects go sideways.

Licensed in Nevada and advising clients nationwide, Jeremy’s practice is concentrated in the Southwest, where he serves as outside counsel to engineering and design firms of all sizes. He is known for translating legal concepts into the language design professionals actually use, and for offering strategic, business-minded solutions rather than academic legal theory. His goal is straightforward: to help engineers protect their work, their firms, and their reputations through contracts that reflect how projects truly operate.

Jeremy is frequently sought out as a trusted advisor on design professional risk management and contract strategy, and is recognized for making contract risk understandable to architects and engineers.
