Action to Quiet Title – What Is It and What Is The Surveyor’s Role?
This webinar will address the legal remedy of “quieting the title” to land when its true ownership is in doubt. Often attorneys, title examiners, and surveyors find that the title to and ownership of a parcel of land is unclear and confusing from an examination of the public records, and the ownership is unclear or in dispute. This webinar will explore the judicial method and remedy for determining the true ownership of such land by reviewing Maryland’s statutory law on the subject illustrated by actual case studies and highlighting the surveyor’s important role in this process.
