What do school counseling, professional wrestling, and hockey have in common? They all require a level of intention, strategy, and passion! Brian Coleman and Olivia Carter, 2019 and 2021 ASCA School Counselors of the Year, will use their somewhat surprising athletic fandoms to help you upgrade your advocacy efforts in support of your students! Game on!
Participants will:
- Review the advocacy elements of a comprehensive school counseling program
- Identify advocacy opportunities in their local communities
- Strategize ways to take their advocacy efforts to the next level
