As State Surveyor of Arkansas\, Daniel is responsible for leading the Arkansas Division of Land Surveys. This role includes maintaining Arkansas’s Public Land Survey System\, prescribing statewide surveying rules\, and managing an archive of over 200\,000 survey plats.
