DESCRIPTION:Date And Location\n\n\n\n\n\nApril 30 – May 1\, 2021\nLODGE OF FOUR SEASONS\n315 Four Seasons Drive\nLake Ozark\, MO 65049 \n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Information\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration fee is $250 for MSPS Members and $400 for Non-Members. A special rate of $150 is available for non-licensed technicians (Associate Members of MSPS). Registration fee plus 2020 Associate Membership is $185. Deadline for meeting registration is April 16\, 2021. After this date\, a 10% processing fee will be added to registration fees. The fee includes instructional materials\, refreshment breaks\, lunch on both days\, cocktail reception and two breakfasts. To register\, complete the registration online or fill out the paper form and mail with payment to MSPS\, 722 E. Capitol Avenue\, Jefferson City\, MO 65101. \n\n\n\n\n\nLocation And Lodging\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Lodge of Four Seasons\, 315 Four Seasons Drive\, Lake Ozark is the location for the 2021 Spring Workshop. A block of rooms has been reserved at a rate of $128.00 for single or double occupancy. Deadline for hotel reservation is April 7\, 2021.\nMake your reservation by calling the Lodge of Four Seasons at 888-265-5500. \n\n\n\n\n\nGolf Tournament\n\n\n\n\n\nThe MSPS PAC Fundraiser Golf Tournament will be held on Thursday\, April 29\, 2021 at 1:00 pm at The Cove Golf Course and is $85 per person. Two mulligans per person are included and prizes are given for first\, second and third teams. Additionally there are prizes for long drive\, closest to the pin and longest putt! \n\n\n\n\n\nContinuing Education\n\n\n\n\n\nThis course has been approved for 15 PDUs (7.5 each day) with the Missouri Board for Architects\, Professional Engineers\, Professional Land Surveyors and Landscape Architects. \n\n\n\n\n\nCST EXAM\n\n\n\n\n\nMSPS will be sponsoring a CST exam on Saturday\, May 1st at the Spring Workshop. The exam will start at 8 am so participants will need to check into the exam room at 7:30 am. If you are interested in taking the exam\, go to the CST website at https://cstnsps.com/ and complete the application. Levels I\, II and III can take the exam. This will be a paper exam. DESCRIPTION:Date And Time\n\n\n\n\n\nFriday\, March 19\, 2021\nVirtual Live Stream\n9 a.m. – Training Begins \n\n\n\n\n\nWebinar Information\n\n\n\n\n\nThis webinar is well suited for LSIT’s\, comity applicants for a Missouri or Arkansas PLS license\, or PLS’s who wish to earn PDU’s and expand their knowledge of the USPLSS as applied in the two states.\nThe seminar content will be web-streamed from a studio setting with a smartboard.\nThe schedule will be 9:00 am – 3:15 pm. There will be a break for lunch from 11:30 – 12:15 pm only. The webinar will have an interface for submitting questions to Dr. Elgin throughout the session. \n\n\n\n\n\nSystem Requirements\n\n\n\n\n\nTo participate virtually\, you will log in and register for the webinar using a link provided by MSPs; an “admission” link will then be sent to you. Connect using this link before the webinar. Your device must have a reliable Internet connection to ensure no disruptions. MSPs does not take responsibility for inadequate service or outages. We recommend having 20 Mbps internet speed; this is a safety factor. Actual demand from the system will only be around 5-7 Mbps. \n\n\n\n\n\nCourse Reference Manual\n\n\n\n\n\nHandouts will be emailed before the webinar. Still\, much of the lecture materials will be from Dr. Elgin’s books “The US Public Land Survey System for Missouri” and “The US Public Land Survey System for Arkansas.” You may wish to purchase one of these before the webinar. Both books are available here:  www.missourisurveyor.org. \n\n\n\n\n\nCancellation Policy For The Virtual Event\n\n\n\n\n\nIf there are not sufficient virtual registrations\, we will cancel and notify you on March 15\, 2021.
