As a consequence\, easements and covenants are common and important aspects often dealt with by the municipal official. This webinar will explain the differences\, difficulties\, problems\, use\, and considerations in employing easements and covenants. \n*Zoom Video Webinars is a widely used webinar platform. You will hear the voice of the speaker and watch a PowerPoint and live software presentation. This technology allows for questions and answers. Webinar login information will be sent to registrants the week of the webinar. \nSpeaker \nKnud E. Hermansen\, PLS\, PE\, Ph.D.\, Esq is an attorney\, professional engineer\, and professional land surveyor. His education includes a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and a JD (Doctorate in Law) from West Virginia University. Knud is a retired professor from the University of Maine\, Surveying Engineering Technology program. He operates a consulting firm offering surveying\, engineering\, and legal services. He is an author or co-author of numerous books and articles. \nRegistration Information \nRegistration Fees: $75/person\, $150/up to three people\, $225/up to five people for MALSCE members* and $100/person\, $200/up to three people\, $300/up to five people for non-members. For group registrations\, the applicable registration fee will be determined by the membership status of the majority of registrants. Please note that a recording of this webinar will be made available for viewing for a 60-day period. \n*  Members of CALS\, MSLS\, NHLSA\, NYSAPLS\, REBA\, RISPLS\, and VSLS can attend for the MALSCE Member rate.
