DESCRIPTION:Retired BLM Chief Cadastral Surveyor for Alaska presenting on the protest and appeal protest from the State of Alaska of BLM Alaska surveys of Group No. 882 and associated Groups 211 and 212\, surveys that located the northwesterly boundary of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge on Alaska’s northern coastal plain. Michael will provide insight into the protest and appeals process\, the BLM’s role in approving surveys with contentious adverse adjoiners\, and the extent of work to support the protest and appeals process.
